Up From Under
Haiti, I believe, can not begin to be explained through photos. The true experience of life here begins with loving the Haitian people and my camera suddenly became a vessel for sharing, for laughter, and for loving. I discovered that life was moving forward, people were healing and that joy was abundant. Through this I wanted to display connection. When you relate to another human being, when you spend the time to connect, it changes something inside you and inside them. Up from Under is a work in progress, a journey I must take and my hope is that the story will develop from here.
“Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”
Romans 5:3-5
